Zayd ibn Arqam said, “The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to say, ‘O Allah, I seek refuge with You from incapacity, laziness, miserliness, senility and the punishment of the grave. O Allah, give my soul Godfearing and purify it. You are the best of those who purify. You are its Master and Guardian. O Allah, I seek refuge with You from knowledge which does not bring benefit and from a heart which is not fearful and from a self which is not content and from a supplication which is not answered.'” [Muslim]
