‘A’isha said, “The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, forbade continuous fasting as a mercy to people. They said, ‘But you fast continously.’ He said, ‘My state is not like yours. My Lord feeds me and gives me to drink.'” [Agreed upon]
