بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم الحمد لله وحده والصلاة والسلام على من لا نبي بعده

‘All praise is for Allah. We praise Him and seek His help and His forgiveness and we believe in Him and rely on Him. We seek refuge with Allah from the evils of ourselves and the vices of our deeds. There is no one to misguide whom Allah guides and there is no one to guide whom Allah lets go astray’.

MISSION PLAN

ICFA
Mission Statement

The mission of ICFA is to provide the Muslim community in Staten Island, New York in particular and America in general with an Islamic center where both children and adults can learn about Islam. The accomplishment of this mission relies on teaching children and adults the Quran, Ahadiths and Arabic
Vision Statement
The vision of ICFA is to establish an Islamic school accredited by the New York state department of education. This Islamic school will be Insha’Allah the center of education about Islam for both Muslims and non-Muslims..
ICFA Background

Islamic Cultural Foundation Of America ( Masjid Al–Muhajireen Wal-Ansar ) is a 501 {c3} New York State tax exempt multi-service worship center, founded and incorporated in 2013 by Imam Mohamed Sakho and the Muslim community of Staten Island. In the beginning, ICFA was a center where Muslim children and adults could perform their daily prayers, learn the Quran, Ahadiths, and Islamic manners. The center was also open for after-school programs for students to help them with their school work as well. A few months later, the Center became a full -fledged Masjid where Imam Mohamed Sakho and other Imams started giving Friday’s sermons leading five daily prayers and the night prayers during Ramadan ( Tarawih).

The objectives of ICFA are:
Provide Muslims with the place where they can perform daily prayers.
Provide Islamic courses and lectures for both Muslims and non-Muslims.
Support Muslims children in their Islamic studies and school programs.
Establish an Islamic school: prekindergarten to 12.
Purchase the building where the ICFA is located.
The strategic plan for ICFA to maintain and sustain the building covers the following points:
1- Since the building has two commercial units and one residential unit, ICFA plans to utilize the two parts of the commercial unit to establish Islamic stores ( clothing stores, halal stores, Islamic bookstores ) that will generate money;
2- ICFA plans to continue using the first floor of the other part of the commercial unit as a mosque;
3- The second floor of the commercial unit will Insha’Allah be used to offer Islamic classes during the day and martial arts at night;
4- The mosque will be also used to educate Muslim children and adults about Islam;
5- The residential unit contains two apartments: the first floor will be rented, and the second floor will be for the imam of the masjid;
6- In addition to the income from the stores, school and rent, the members of ICFA will have fund-raising events to generate more revenues that could be used to offer scholarship and financial aid to Muslim students coming from low-income families.

Based on the projected revenues and expenses, the members of ICFA strongly believe that the project of buying the building that is on sale for $ 700,000.00 is worth investing due to the tangible and intangible benefits that the educational services will render. We want our children to be well-versed in Islam and well-educated to practice Islam and contribute to the well-being of the Ummah. The purchase of this building will be Incha’Allah a major step towards creating and leaving a good legacy behind us for the future Muslim generations in the United States.

Every Muslim is aware of the position of a mosque in Islamic Society. When the prophet (PBUH) arrived in Madinah, the first act he performed was the building of a mosque.
This indicates the importance of a mosque in Islam. All acts of worship (ibadah) in Islam are for the purification of the soul, refinement of morals, and strengthening the ties of mutual cooperation among the Muslims. The congregational prayers and the Friday and Eid prayers are strong examples of the nature of the Muslim community and in the unity of their opinions, goals and cooperation in achieving righteousness and in fearing Allah.

We, (ICFA) and the Muslims of Staten Island turn to you, to help us in building our own mosque in Staten Island, a mosque which will play a central role in the spiritual, cultural and social life of Muslims of Staten Island.

We believe it is truly amazing how little it can collectively cost to provide a community with a much needed place of worship, and that the opportunity to help provide this is a real blessing from Allah. Help us succeed in realizing our dream before the start of this Ramadan. Help us establish an Islamic educational center for ourselves, our children and future Muslims of Staten Island. Help us raise awareness of our beautiful Religion here.

PLEASE DONATE GENEROUSLY TOWARDS THE HOUSE OF ALLAH

The donor will reap the benefits of their contribution for as long as the mosque exists, may it stand and benefit the local community until the Day of Judgment.
Our beloved Prophet said Peace be upon Him said: ‘’ Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah, The Exalted, shall build a house for such a one in paradise.’’
‘’ To Allah, the most adored places are the mosques and the most undesirable places are market places.’’
Mosques are the houses of Allah and those believers who enter therein are the guests of Allah.
‘’ Those who visit the mosques in darkness convey to them the good news that Allah shall bestow upon them from Himself perfect light on the Day of Judgment..’’
‘’Of all the buildings the most beautiful and attractive in Allah’s sight is a Mosque.’’
