Abu Hurayra reported that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, “Out of a dinar which you spend in the way of Allah and a dinar which you spend on freeing a slave and a dinar which you give to a poor person and a dinar which you spend on your family, the one with the greatest reward is the one which you spend on your family.” [Muslim]
