Abu Hurayra reported that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, “None of you should point at his brother with a weapon. He does not know; perhaps Shaytan will make it slip from his hand thus making him fall into a pit of the Fire.” [Agreed upon]
In one variant of Muslim he said that Abu’l-Qasim said, “If someone points with a piece of iron at his brother, the angels curse him until he puts it down, even if it is his full brother.”
