Abu Ayyub Khalid ibn Zayd al-Ansari reported that a man said, “Messenger of Allah, tell me about an action that will bring me into the Garden and keep me far from the Fire?” The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, “Worship Allah and do not associate anything with Him, perform the prayer and pay the zakat and maintain ties of kinship.” [Agreed upon]
